Guwahati: YouTuber Bhukhan Pathak is rebuilding lives in Sivasagar. The Assamese digital star directed his resources toward families devastated by the 2026 Assam floods. He moved fast. He spent Rs 3 lakh on food and essential supplies for vulnerable communities during the initial crisis phase.

Pathak returned to the district for fifteen days. He worked directly with the displaced. His team built two new homes for families who lost everything. He named the first house Zubeen Aloy. Located in Gorkokh village, Panbecha, the home represents a fresh start. He named the second house Sonere Sojuwa Poja. It stands in Sukanpukhuri village, Betbari. Both names honor Assamese singer Zubeen Garg.

The recovery effort went beyond construction. Pathak provided direct cash to people struggling to pay for their immediate needs. He also traveled to Nazira to assist an elderly couple. He provided them with a new bed and mattress. He spent Rs 2.5 lakh during this second phase. The total cost of his relief effort reached Rs 5.5 lakh.

Pathak is a veteran content creator. He claimed the first Silver Play Button in Northeast India in 2017. He uses his platform for more than views. He said, "The story of the two houses in Sivasagar is ultimately not just about construction, but about two families who lost their homes to the floods and received an opportunity to start again." These homes give them a permanent place to live.
