Guwahati: AAP national leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh touched down in Sivasagar to witness the ruin left by Assam's recent floods. He moved through the battered region to see the destruction firsthand. The water destroyed everything. Sivasagar MLA Akhil Gogoi joined the MP to offer support during the tour of the disaster zone.

Singh stopped at Nitaipukhuri to talk with the press about the misery gripping local families. He addressed the mounting hurdles facing survivors who are waiting for government action. "Singh's visit comes as several parts of Assam continue to grapple with the aftermath of severe flooding, with affected families seeking immediate relief, rehabilitation and support."

The visit brought public attention to the desperate state of those displaced by the rising waters. Thousands need help now. Singh and Gogoi assessed the recovery needs of these communities while residents continue to search for basic assistance to survive the catastrophe.
