Kohima: Dimapur officials gathered at the District Administration headquarters on July 15 to organize a massive registration drive for the MY Bharat portal. The push runs through August 15, 2026. Schools and colleges must now prioritize getting students signed up.
DC Dimapur Dr. Tinojongshi Chang addressed the crowd. He called youth the primary engine of development. "The MY Bharat platform acts as a timely, unified catalyst to bridge the gap between young individuals and governance," Chang said. He demanded that institutional heads treat the effort as a top priority to help local students secure their futures.
District Youth Officer K Manikanta outlined how the portal functions. It acts as a digital link for citizens aged 15 to 29. Users build profiles and access mentorship. The portal offers Experiential Learning Programs for hands-on skill training, leadership courses for employability, and civic action roles in disaster management and community health.
EAC Imlijungla attended the session alongside the District Employment Officer and the District Education Officer. Local college principals joined them to set action plans. The administration wants every school to build dedicated registration cells and appoint Nodal Officers. They must use campus groups like the NSS and NCC to hit their targets before the deadline.
