Agartala: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha raised the national flag at his Agartala residence this Saturday. The ceremony marked India's 80th Independence Day. He told the crowd that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Har Ghar Tiranga campaign ignited a powerful wave of patriotism across the country.

Saha said the movement brought the tricolor into every home. It taught younger generations about the heavy price paid by freedom fighters. He insisted that nurturing this spirit is mandatory to keep the struggle for independence alive. "The initiative has not only brought the tricolour into every home but also rekindled awareness among younger generations about the sacrifices of freedom fighters," said Saha.

The Chief Minister shifted to national progress. He highlighted twelve years of gains in security, infrastructure, jobs, and connectivity. He cited better roads, aviation, internet speeds, and airspace management as proof of rapid growth. Military confidence is up too. He pointed to surgical strikes, air strikes, and Operation Sindoor as markers of a rising global stature.

Economic numbers back the state's progress. Tripura now ranks second among all northeastern states in both GDP and per capita income. The state marked the holiday with devotion and fervor.
