Agartala: Agartala flooded with flags on Wednesday. Thousands of citizens, students, and state officials marched through the streets for the Tiranga Yatra. The rally moved from Ujjayanta Palace to the Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan to mark the upcoming Independence Day.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha led the charge alongside his cabinet members. He flagged off the event before joining the crowd. The march concluded with a Tiranga exhibition and concert at the Bhavan.

Saha addressed the masses during the event. "The National Flag is not merely a symbol of our pride; it embodies our unity, sacrifice and the indomitable spirit of patriotism," the Chief Minister said. He explained that the saffron represents sacrifice, white stands for truth, and green signifies growth.
