Agartala: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha opened a new private facility at the Motorstand area in Agartala on Sunday. He hailed the rise of the Supra Multi-Speciality Hospital as proof of shifting trends. The state is growing. Projects are finally moving.

Saha claims infrastructure upgrades have transformed local medicine. He pointed to expanded telemedicine, trauma centers, and transplant services as proof of progress. The government increased bed capacity at GBP Hospital to 1413. Improvements extend to district facilities, keeping more patients inside the state instead of sending them elsewhere for care.

Government plans include a new 100-bed eye hospital and a medical college in the TTAADC area. Officials also want to open Bharat Mata Canteens to feed families accompanying patients from rural areas. The Chief Minister urged the public to trust local facilities, stating, "The present state government is implementing various development initiatives prioritizing welfare and development of the people of all sections."

Success claims reach beyond buildings. The state reported 100 percent coverage for the Mukhyamantri Sustha Shoishab Sustha Koishore Abhiyan. Programs like Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana continue to roll out. Dr. Rajib Debnath, the hospital MD, offered a vote of thanks after the opening, while Mayor Dipak Majumder joined the ceremony. Saha also kicked off a blood donation drive at the site.
