Gangtok: Indian rockers Girish and The Chronicles are heading back to Europe. This marks their second international run of 2026. They play the Milagre Metaleiro Open Air Festival in Portugal from August 21 to 23. It is their debut in the country.

The festival hosts acts like Paradise Lost, The Haunted, Enforcer, Crematory, Primal Fear, and former Iron Maiden singer Blaze Bayley. The group shared their excitement about the trip. "GATC said they are looking forward to sharing the stage with the international acts and making their first appearance in Portugal."

They head to Spain next. The band plays a headline set at the Valdor Rock Festival in Burgos on August 29. They have played Burgos since 2022 and built a loyal following there. This trek follows an Australian tour from March.

The band is also working on their fourth studio album. It features their new single, Generation Coward. These dates aim to boost their footprint with metal fans across the continent.
