Agartala: NITI Aayog member Dr. Joram Aniya met Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha at his official residence on Wednesday. They talked shop. The pair examined the status of current initiatives and plotted a roadmap for the state. Development remains the goal.
Saha highlighted the specific obstacles the state faces when rolling out Centrally Sponsored Schemes. He pressed for tighter coordination between state officials and NITI Aayog to speed up projects that affect local residents. Better cooperation is the play.
The Chief Minister asked the federal agency for help in four priority sectors: school education, tourism, sports, and the startup ecosystem. Saha noted these areas are key to the future of the state. He said, "These areas are critical to shaping Tripura's future, both in terms of economic growth and social progress."
Both parties looked for ways to boost institutional support and clean up administrative red tape. Faster implementation is the objective. This meeting links Tripura to national strategies and aims to push tangible benefits to the grassroots level.
