Agartala: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha gathered civil service officers in Agartala to demand more accountability. He insisted that professional ranks and degrees mean little without a genuine commitment to the people. The Tripura Civil Service Officers Association held the event at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital and Dental College. They handed out clothes to security guards and sanitation staff before the Durga Puja festival.

Saha wants bureaucrats to look past paperwork. He encouraged them to lead blood drives, aid disaster victims, and run clothing relief efforts. These actions prove the state cares about its most vulnerable citizens. "People cannot be won over by merely making assurances. Real trust can be achieved only by working sincerely for them," Saha said.

The state government highlighted its recent successes during the meeting. Officials pointed to the G-20 Science Plenary Session as a high-water mark for local administration. Tripura also took the top national spot for two straight years in the category of reducing compliance requirements and business deregulation.

Key officials attended the session to support the mission. Secretary to the Chief Minister Kiran Gitte, TCS Association Secretary Asim Saha, Health Director Dr. Debashree Debbarma, and IGM Hospital Superintendent Dr. Nirmal Sarkar joined the discussion. The Chief Minister closed the meeting with a stern warning. Public confidence remains earned through consistent, honest work, not empty promises.
