Agartala: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha launched a new WhatsApp and AI-powered system Friday to track civic issues in Agartala. He wants a zero-complaint city. The state held the rollout event at Rabindra Bhavan on October 9.

Saha also started two water projects in Collegetila, Ward No. 24. These feature a surface water treatment plant handling 6.81 million litres and a 680-kilolitre overhead tank. The state is sinking Rs 18.17 crore into these works. Saha said, "Access to safe drinking water was essential to building a citizen-friendly urban environment."

The administration added 10 new vehicles for the Chief Minister’s Rapid Response Team. These trucks and tankers cost Rs 2.78 crore. The AI system will cover all four zones of the Agartala Municipal Corporation. It joins the existing Amar Sarkar portal as a way to log grievances. Saha admitted that ongoing road and pipe work currently causes headaches for locals but promised quick fixes. He claimed the previous government ignored water infrastructure for 25 years, leaving the system in shambles.
