Tripura BJP Expels and Suspends Two Members Over Anti-Party Conduct

Agartala: The Tripura BJP took swift disciplinary action against two members. They face charges of violating organizational rules and repeated anti-party conduct. State BJP President Abhishek Debroy directed the moves. Sunit Sarkar, the media in-charge, confirmed the news in a formal statement.

Former Member of the District Council Padmalochan Tripura faces immediate suspension. He lost all party responsibilities and status in organizational activities. Party leadership claims he ignored repeated warnings. He allegedly used social media to post content that damaged the reputation and discipline of the BJP.

Debashish Saha, known as Boro Kanai, received a harsher penalty. The party expelled him from primary membership effective immediately. Saha served as a member of Booth No. 16 under the 8-Town Bordowali Mandal. Officials cited his direct involvement in activities deemed harmful to the party.

The organization is clearing house. It intends to maintain a firm grip on its ranks. The leadership insists that ideology and collective interests come first. The statement warned that the group will not tolerate dissent. "The organisation is above any individual or position," the party declared. Strict enforcement of these standards will continue for anyone breaking the rules.
