Imphal: Kshetrigao MLA Sheikh Noorul Hassan pushed for unity while touting government progress at the Sewa Sankalp Abhiyan event. The gathering at the KIYC Turf Ground marked Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public service. Hassan insisted the state is working hard to meet public needs. He claimed the government is making concerted efforts to fulfill public aspirations and ensure inclusive development.
Hassan promised that welfare schemes will reach all eligible people without bias. The discussion included specific support for street vendors and vulnerable groups. The MLA also pointed to ongoing aid for internally displaced persons caught in the Manipur crisis. He pledged to keep upgrading infrastructure and public facilities throughout the region.
Dr. Rajdeep Roy, the newly appointed in charge of Manipur BJP, attended alongside Imphal East Deputy Commissioner Nevidita. The event transitioned from speeches to direct action. Officials handed out wheelchairs to senior citizens and people with disabilities. They also processed old-age pensions and other government benefits for local residents.
