Agartala: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha rolled out 21 development projects today in the Kumarghat subdivision of Unakoti district. The total investment for these works exceeds Rs 40 crore. Officials aim to boost local infrastructure and general welfare.
Saha used the event to slam his predecessors. He claimed the former administration failed to deliver its promised Golden Era. Instead, it left the current government struggling with a Rs 13,000 crore financial burden. He noted that despite these fiscal hurdles, the state pushes ahead.
The Chief Minister credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the progress. He credited the double engine government for steering state initiatives. "Development activities had continued despite financial challenges," Saha said. The new projects target growth across Kumarghat and the surrounding district to push the state toward the goal of a Viksit Tripura.
