Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury Leads Unakoti Development Push

Agartala: Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury launched the Ashirwad Ka Diya program in Kailashahar yesterday. The event took place near the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Setu in Chandipur Block. Attendees lit diyas to honor Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The celebration marks 25 years of the Prime Minister's public service and his birthday.

Chowdhury pushed for broad public involvement in state projects. He wants citizens to back the Seva, Sushason and Antyoday mission. The government intends to push benefits through the Ujjwala Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, PMAY, and PM-Kishan Samman Nidhi. Officials also continue the free distribution of food grains.

The minister urged unity during his speech. He told the crowd, "participation from all sections of society" remains the key to developmental success. He framed this goal under the banner of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Biswas, Sabka Prayas.

Unakoti Zila Parishad member Bimal Kar presided over the proceedings. District Magistrate Megha Jain delivered the welcome address. Other officials at the site included Sabhadhipati Amalendu Das and SP Rishab. A voluntary blood donation camp operated simultaneously at the Unakoti Kalakshetra to support the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan initiative.
