Agartala: Tripura hits the streets on October 7. The state will hold the Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra and Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra across all eight districts. This marks 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in public service. It has been a quarter-century since he first took office as Gujarat Chief Minister in 2001.

Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury checked the setup at Shishu Udyan in Agartala on Tuesday. He met with party leaders and Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha workers to plot the logistics. Chowdhury wants everything to run tight. He said the initiative would "seek to reinforce the message of public service and highlight Modi's 25 years of public life and his emphasis on nation-building."

Processions will carry the Seva Jyoti, supported by motorcycle and cycle rallies. The event wraps up before 11 am. Then comes the live broadcast of the Prime Minister's speech. Chief Minister Prof Dr Manik Saha plans to attend the Agartala event. This campaign is part of the broader Seva Sankalp Abhiyan running from September 17 to October 17.
