Agartala: Tripura Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury met at the state Secretariat on September 29 to finalize plans for the upcoming Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra. The event falls under the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan. It marks 25 years of public service by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. District Magistrates from all eight districts joined the session virtually to coordinate logistics.

Chowdhury demanded broad public participation for the October 7 event. He specifically wants to see more college students and young people involved. The state will host a procession carrying the Seva Jyoti, plus various cycle and bike rallies. Organizers expect all activities to wrap up before 11 am. Once the yatra concludes, the state will broadcast the Prime Minister's address live.

The Minister pushed for a smooth operation. He stated, "The yatra would highlight the values of public service, unity and patriotism while taking the government's welfare-oriented initiatives to different sections of society."

Attendees at the Secretariat included MLA Abhishek Debroy, TIDC Chairman Nabadal Banik, Information and Cultural Affairs Department Secretary Kiran Gitte, and Director Bimbisar Bhattacharyya. Both Gitte and Bhattacharyya briefed the Minister on the planned arrangements. Debroy echoed the need for youth engagement. Officials remain focused on high turnout to ensure the initiative succeeds across all districts.
