Shillong: Hindustan Research Health Products Private Limited Managing Director Pawan Bukalsaria is fighting back. He launched a trademark infringement suit to stop unauthorized use of his LIVSAV brand. He claims the legal move rests on hard evidence, not personal grudges. Bukalsaria spent months reviewing records and consulting lawyers before heading to court. He insists the suit is legitimate.
Bukalsaria maintains that LIVSAV is his original creation. He built the brand through years of investment and work. He views the unauthorized use of similar names as a threat to consumer trust. The company plans to block any firm using identical marks, prefixes, or suffixes to siphon off their goodwill. He says businesses must compete honestly. They cannot use shortcuts to mimic established reputations.
The dispute currently sits in the Maharashtra High Court. BJP treasurer Sarwan Jhunjhunwala recently distanced himself from the controversy. He labeled the case a standard commercial disagreement between two private companies. Bukalsaria expressed concern about the quality of competing goods. He wants shoppers to get the value they pay for. He refuses to sway public opinion through the press.
"I am not here to run a media trial or make personal allegations against anyone," Bukalsaria stated. He has full faith in the Indian judicial system to weigh the facts. He says the law applies to everyone equally. He will keep pursuing his rights through proper legal channels. He expects the truth to surface as the court reviews the evidence.
