Pfutsero Prepares for Independence Day With Mandatory Town Cleanup

Kohima: Pfutsero residents must pick up their tools. Additional Deputy Commissioner Mhalo Humtsoe ordered a mass social work event for August 8, 2026. The cleanup starts at 7 a.m. sharp.

The town needs to shine. Officials directed all members of the general public and Heads of Offices to supervise and support the drive. The labor aims to ensure a clean Pfutsero town before the 80th Independence Day celebration later that month.
