Kohima Social Clubs Visit Orphanages for Independence Day

Kohima: Members of the Classic Club in Kohima observed the 80th Independence Day with a visit to the Kohima Orphanage Home. Club president K. Neibou Sekhose led the delegation during the August 15 event.

The Royal Club Kohima held a separate visit on the same day. They spent the holiday at the Bright Morning Star Children Home. These local groups spent their time connecting with the youth during the national celebration.

Chief Minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio submitted his enumeration form on August 17 as part of the state-wide Special Intensive Revision of the 2026 electoral rolls.
