Kohima: Nagaland Director General of Police Rupin Sharma demanded better file management and strict adherence to service rules during the Nagaland Directorate Ministerial Service Association 5th Biennial Conference. The event took place Saturday at the Capital Convention Centre in Kohima. Sharma told staff they must learn the Nagaland Government Servants Conduct Rules to do their jobs right.
New hires bring skill and tech savvy. Veterans bring essential wisdom. Sharma wants both groups to work together to improve government office output. He warned staff to find the root cause of systemic problems rather than just treating symptoms. He expects honesty. "I advise them to uphold integrity and make responsible decisions throughout their careers," Sharma said.
Kroneicho Naki, the first Administrative Officer of the Nagaland Public Works Department, also spoke at the meeting. He noted the struggle to create his new role took over ten years. Naki urged employees to treat their work as a professional legacy. He labeled the ministerial staff as the actual backbone of state government operations.
I Anungba Sanglir, Vice President of the Confederation of All Nagaland State Services Employees Association, outlined recent wins for state workers. The group helped push through the Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme. They are now hunting for pension reforms and a new Revision of Pay. NDMSA member Bendangsenla welcomed the attendees and thanked Sharma for his ongoing support of the ministerial wing.
