Kohima: The 1985 to 1988 class of South India Biblical Seminary met in Nagaland for a four-day reunion. The event ran from August 16 to 19. It marked 38 years since their time at the Bangarapet school. Koinonia Baptist Church hosted the group. They gathered on August 18 at the Koinonia Prayer Centre in Tsiesema Basa.
The event followed the theme of Psalms 103:2. Rev. Dr. Zotuo Kiewhuo spoke to the crowd. He runs Koinonia Baptist Church and the Kohima Bible College. Kiewhuo praised the strict spiritual and academic training the students received. He credited former principal Frankie E. Dewey for grounding the students during their formative years. Kiewhuo noted how the school changed lives. He said, "Students who once faced personal struggles during their seminary years had gone on to serve in diverse mission fields across India and abroad."
Meyiengonu Üsou chaired the welcome session. Pastor Medotseilieü Kiewhuo delivered the opening address. The Women Department handled introductions. Kohima Bible College and the Deborah Group provided special music. The alumni spent the four days reconnecting and sharing testimonies. They focused on nearly four decades of ministry work.
