Kohima: The Office of the Accountant General (A&E) in Kohima is opening its doors to solve lingering bureaucratic headaches. It will hold a Pension and GPF Adalat on August 19. The session runs from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the office premises.
Officials want results. Serving and retired government employees with outstanding grievances or complaints regarding pension and General Provident Fund matters should show up to present their cases for redressal. The office explicitly stated, "serving and retired government officials having grievances or complaints relating to pension and General Provident Fund (GPF) matters have been requested to attend the Adalat and present their grievances for redressal."
Before the Adalat, the office is pivoting to training. They scheduled a Stakeholders Engagement Workshop for August 12. This session focuses on the financial awareness and literacy of government accounts. Attendees include Divisional Accountants, Treasury Offices, and Sub-Treasury Officers. The event takes place at the Directorate of Treasuries and Accounts in Kohima.
