Kohima: The Department of Agriculture in Nagaland honored Medovilie Ladu on November 2. He retired as the Additional Director of Agriculture following a long tenure of state service. The event marked his formal superannuation.
Dr. Zasekuolie Chusi, the Additional Chief Secretary and Agriculture Production Commissioner, led the tributes. He recognized Ladu for his work within the department. The room listened closely. Agriculture Director Sanuzo Nienu chaired the meeting while Z. Hukato Sema, an Additional Director, presented a detailed look at Ladu’s career profile. Temjenlemba Imchen represented the ministerial staff during the speeches.
Ladu thanked the department and his coworkers for their help. During his farewell address, Ladu stated, "I expressed my gratitude to the Department, colleagues and staff for their cooperation, support and camaraderie throughout his years of service." Officials highlighted his efforts to push the department's goals forward. The state acknowledged his lasting commitment to public service.
