Nagaland BJP Targets Grassroots Growth in Mon

Kohima: BJP Nagaland officials descended on Mon District to overhaul the party’s grassroots machinery. The meeting focused on tightening the links between district leaders and the mandal units. They want efficiency. Officials from 46 Mon Town, 42 Wakching, 43 Tapi, 44 Phomching, and 41 Tizit joined district morcha presidents to map out a path for stronger local engagement.

MLA and Adviser Konngam Konyak attended alongside State Secretary Shilukaba Longchar. These leaders pushed for strict discipline and unity among the karyakartas. The goal remains clear: build a better base to serve local people. Participants discussed the need for a cohesive structure, noting that the party must be responsive to the needs of the electorate. They pushed for "collective leadership" as a primary requirement for the party moving forward.

State President Benjamin Yepthomi is not stopping in Mon. He and his team head to Aboi on November 6 for another coordination session. This tour aims to stitch the entire regional network together before the party settles into its next phase of operations.
