Additional seizures occurred in Kolasib, where police found 1.618 kg of heroin, and Lawngtlai, where 4.22 kg of ganja was confiscated.
The department is calling for backup. They want citizens to report trafficking to village councils, the government, the Young Mizo Association, and local non-governmental organisations. Officials emphasized that "cooperation between law enforcement agencies and local communities remains important in tackling the drug menace." Police view these busts as a direct push to break the state's drug flow.
