Manipur Officials Open Two-Day Criminal Justice Seminar

Guwahati: Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh opened a two-day seminar on Criminal Justice Administration on July 18. The event sits inside the MSFDS Hall in Imphal. Attendees include Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla, judges, police officers, public prosecutors, and various legal experts.

These stakeholders met to discuss the implementation of criminal laws. They want better coordination across the state justice system. The Chief Minister expects the talks to help build a system that is transparent, efficient, and people-centric. He stated the event would "play an important role in strengthening the implementation of criminal laws."

The seminar focuses on reforms and best practices. It aims to ensure fair justice delivery for everyone in Manipur.
