Family Demands Investigation Into DSP Khargeswar Rabha Death

Guwahati: Deputy Superintendent of Police Khargeswar Rabha is dead. Workers found his body inside a room at the Jahnabi Regency hotel in Bongaigaon. He worked for the Chief Minister Special Vigilance Cell.

Mithu Rabha wants answers. The officer wife has asked authorities to explain exactly how her husband died in that room. She demands a clear investigation into the circumstances of his passing.

A delegation from the All Rabha Students Union Kamrup district committee visited the family home this past Thursday. They want Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma to step in. The group insists on a transparent look at the facts surrounding the death. "ARSU leaders called for all circumstances surrounding the incident to be examined and the facts established."

The family and the student union remain firm. They expect the state government to hold a full inquiry to uncover what happened at the hotel.
