Imphal: Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh demanded unity among the state's 36 communities on Wednesday, September 30. He spoke at Irawat Square in Imphal for the state-level observance of Jana Neta Hijam Irawat Day 2026. Khemchand Singh placed flowers at the memorial. The crowd listened intently.

The Chief Minister praised Irawat as a titan of social and political change. Irawat fought for the people.
