Kalyanpur Builds New Park for Children

Agartala: Crews are busy building the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Children’s Park in Kalyanpur. The site sits right near Kalyanpur School. It aims to give kids a safe spot for outdoor fun. Adults can relax there too. The project also works to clean up the look of the area.

Kalyanpur-Pramodnagar MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury checked the progress on Monday. He walked the grounds with Asim Deb Roy and other local figures. They reviewed the current construction and discussed ways to spruce up the space once the build wraps up. The team pushed for a quick finish.

Residents have wanted a park here for a long time. It fills a gap in local amenities. The MLA’s office noted that the site is, "expected to be formally inaugurated soon after the construction and finishing works are completed." This park marks another step in broader local development plans. Locals expect the site to open shortly.
