Agartala: The Tripura Commission for Women teamed up with the National Commission for Women to host an AI training seminar in Agartala. They want local women to master new tech for job opportunities. The event, held at a private hotel, focused on the YASHODA AI initiative.

Chairperson Jharna Debbarma led the charge. She believes the tech can drive empowerment when handled with care. "This is why we are organising this event to make the stakeholders in the field of women empowerment aware of this," Debbarma said. She wants women to find ways to earn money from home.

Government workers, students, and women from the unorganised sector packed the room. Two experts taught them how to use AI for work, school, and business. They specifically covered the ethical side of the tools. The organizers want to ensure these women keep pace with rapid shifts in technology.
