Agartala: Content creator Anirban Bhowmik dropped his new devotional music video, Shyam Sundari Shyama, on November 3. The project hit the web just in time for Diwali. Bhowmik, a resident of Udaipur in Tripura’s Gomati district, spent nearly a year scripting and directing the film. He invested over Rs 1 lakh into the production to showcase the strength of regional talent.
The video features vocals and composition by Kishan Das, with lyrics written by Ranajit Chakraborty and production by Tapas Dhar. Adarsh Ray managed cinematography, editing, color grading, and visual effects. Bhowmik appears on screen alongside a cast including Jeniva Das, Subhabrata Chakraborty, and Anushka Roy.
Bhowmik drew creative inspiration from filmmaker Imtiaz Ali. He wanted to ground the devotional track in real human struggles and life’s uncertainties. The creator noted that last year's positive feedback on his Shyama Sangeet release pushed him to take on this larger project. He expressed happiness over the early traction the video gained. Bhowmik said, "I am very happy with the response the latest video received within its first 24 hours of release and thank the entire team for their contribution."
