Guwahati: Content creator Amir Shokeen is under fire. A viral video shows the Delhi man making racist remarks toward a youth from Tripura. He mocked the man by calling him Chinese and insulting his looks. Public outrage followed immediately. Critics slammed the clip for promoting racial stereotypes.

Mohammed Wasim Raja says his brother is a serial offender. Raja claims Shokeen builds his life on extortion and illegal property takeovers. He even accused his own brother of stealing family land. The family cut ties with Shokeen over a decade ago. "Amir Shokeen is a miscreant who has many cases filed against him," Raja stated. He says the family wants nothing to do with him.

Shokeen posted an apology on Facebook. He claims the video was a scripted bit. He argued the man in the video worked at a friend's cafe in Ahmedabad. Shokeen says he meant no harm and intended the exchange as humor. He addressed the people of Tripura directly. "My brothers from Tripura, I apologise to all of you with folded hands. Brotherhood is top priority. I am sorry," he wrote.

The apology has not stopped the legal heat. Pradyot Bikram Manikya Debbarma, founder of the Tipra Motha, filed an official FIR. He insists that local questioning in Delhi is not enough. He wants Shokeen brought to Tripura for a real investigation. Tipra Motha MLA Paul Dangshu joined the call. He demanded immediate action from Delhi Police. Dangshu rejected the idea that racial abuse can be excused as simple content creation.
