Imphal: The 112 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force marched through Kangpokpi on August 13. They carried the national flag to mark the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. It was a bold display of unity. Officers and students navigated the conflict-hit district together to honor the upcoming Independence Day.

The rally started at the Superintendent of Police office. The crowd marched down National Highway 2 and pushed through the main market. Students from Oasis College and Elite Higher Secondary School walked alongside CRPF jawans and local police. They moved as one. The march ended at Brigadier M. Thomas Ground.

The group gathered at the ground for the national anthem. They also sang Vande Mataram to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the historic song. The 112 Battalion CRPF stated the mission was meant to "promote patriotism and strengthen ties between security forces and the younger generation." This event aimed to bridge the gap between forces and youth during a period of heavy social strain in Manipur.
