Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma threw his support behind a new free mentorship program for civil service hopefuls. Kokrajhar Deputy Commissioner Pankaj Chakravarty launched the project to bridge the gap between classroom theory and exam reality. The program runs for six months.
Serving government officials lead the sessions. They aim to steer students toward practical knowledge instead of relying on mindless memorization. Sarma took to X to voice his approval of the district administration. He labeled the project a "great model" for the region.
The Chief Minister pushed his support for the aspirants taking part. He wants this initiative to keep opening doors for young people aiming for public service roles.
