Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma used Daughters' Day to renew his administration's pledge to protect the state's girls. He wants more freedom for them. Held on the fourth Sunday of September, the day focuses on boosting female education and equal opportunity.
Sarma took to X on September 27 to discuss his goals. He stated, "On Daughters' Day, I celebrate every daughter of Assam and reaffirm our commitment to creating a state where they can learn, grow, dream freely and achieve their fullest potential."
The Chief Minister views these girls as the primary hope for the state. He promised that the government will stand by them to build a stronger future. He aims to ensure every child can realize her potential without barriers.
