Itanagar: The Arunachal Pradesh government overhauled its bureaucracy on July 24. Officials moved several IAS and Arunachal Pradesh Civil Service officers to new posts. The Department of Personnel issued the order with immediate effect. The state governor ordered the moves to improve governance.
Mamu Hage, a 2017 batch IAS officer, took over as Deputy Commissioner of Papum Pare. He replaces Lobsang Tsering. Tsering now heads to Namsai as Deputy Commissioner. Ankita Mishra, 2018 batch, left her roles at HAPDA and RERA to become Deputy Commissioner of Keyi Panyor. She replaces Shweta Nagarkoti.
Vishal Shah moved from Changlang to replace Mishra at HAPDA and RERA. R.D. Thungon takes over as the new Deputy Commissioner of Changlang. Yashwant Meena, 2022 batch, starts as the Deputy Commissioner of Dibang Valley. He replaces Bekir Nyorak. The government directed Nyorak to report directly to the Chief Secretary.
Other shifts include Tom Ratan taking charge in Bichom. Likha Tejji moves to Pakke Kessang as Deputy Commissioner. C.R. Khampa leaves Namsai to serve as Tax, Excise and Narcotics Commissioner. Bopai Puroik now handles Puroik Welfare Matter. Oling Lego fills the role of Director of Research. Kanto Danggen picked up extra duties as Administrator of Apex Bank. The state government stated the reshuffle is "aimed at strengthening administrative efficiency and governance across the state."
