Aizawl: Aizawl will host the Mizoram Winter Festival from December 11 to 13. The main events take place at Aizawl Lammual. Tourism Minister Lalnghinglova Hmar met with the festival's Working Committee on November 6 to coordinate departmental roles. He wants a smooth experience for guests.
Hmar demanded responsible tourism from all visitors. He urged officials to bridge the gap between travelers and residents. Different lifestyles create challenges. The minister noted, "mutual understanding and respect for local customs and traditions were essential." He wants local residents and tourists to share a deeper awareness of regional traditions.
Events will spread beyond the capital. Organizers scheduled programming at Tlaizawng Cherry Blossom Paradise in Phuaibuang, Saitual district, near the Manipur border. Other festivities will occupy Sakawrhmuituai Sunset and Chepa Nun in Darzo.
