Agartala: Tripura is gearing up for the Village Committee elections under the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council. Officials set the big day for September 28. Preparation is now in a final, decisive stage.
SEC Secretary Anurag Sen confirmed that ballot printing is moving forward at the Government Press. A dedicated team is managing the load to meet strict deadlines. The State Election Commission maintains tight oversight to ensure every ballot is accurate.
Election staff will vote early. Police, civil administration workers, and members of the Tripura State Rifles can cast ballots on September 22 and 23. Staff must file Form 15 to get their papers from Returning Officers. "Government officials and personnel assigned to election duties will be able to exercise their franchise on September 22 and 23," Sen said.
Training is nearly finished. Officials wrapped up the first round of randomisation and initial instruction. The second phase of training for workers at various blocks hits its finish line on September 22. These sessions cover security protocols and voter help. The state will count the final votes on October 5.
