Agartala: Tripura election officials are launching a Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls on September 5. The state aims to clean up voter lists and catch every eligible citizen. Chief Electoral Officer Brijesh Pandey and Additional Chief Electoral Officer Usa Jen Mog managed the preparations.

They held a video conference with District Election Officers and Electoral Registration Officers on August 28. The meeting focused on administrative logistics. The team plans to use new technology to keep records transparent. Pandey stressed the need for precision during the process. The department stated, "The Election Department said it would focus on accuracy, transparency and inclusive coverage throughout the SIR exercise."

Staff must ensure uniform standards across all districts. No eligible voter should miss out. The state is finalizing its tech-driven approach for the upcoming sweep.
