Agartala: North Tripura authorities linked up with the Centre for Microfinance and Livelihood on Monday. They signed a non-financial agreement at the District Magistrate office in Dharmanagar. The deal aims to drag up living standards for rural families. It is an initiative of Tata Trusts.
District Magistrate and Collector Chandni Chandran signed for the government. CML Executive Director Madhabananda Ray represented his group. The pact forces a tighter bond between local administration and development experts. The goal is simple: better money for rural households.
The work covers a wide reach. Teams will target springshed development, water security, fisheries, livestock, and agriculture. They also plan to hit education and allied activities. Everything relies on smarter water management and new ways to make money.
The partnership aims to "strengthen institutional collaboration" across the region. CML will keep its boots on the ground alongside various government departments. This coordination should clear red tape and make sure development programs actually work. The administration wants to maximize the impact of these projects for every village in the district.
