Agartala: Tripura Minister Sudhangshu Das met Bihar Agriculture Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha at Udaipur Airport in Rajasthan this past Sunday. The encounter happened during a stopover while Das was traveling to Delhi. Sinha previously served as Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister.
Das took the brief window of time to promote Tripura. He discussed the recent gains made under the guidance of Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha. The Tripura minister for SC Welfare, ARDD and Fisheries used the time to highlight welfare initiatives and governance improvements in his state. He detailed how these policies changed the socio-economic status of Tripura.
Das posted about the interaction online. He called the meeting a "warm and meaningful" exchange. Both men used the stopover to compare notes on state progress. These meetings help leaders share best practices across state lines.
