Agartala: Tripura Minister Sudhangshu Das took stock of government operations on October 13. He met with officials in the Sepahijala District Magistrate office to grill them on departmental performance. The session covered Animal Resources Development, Fisheries, and Scheduled Caste Welfare programs.

Secretary S. Pradbhu joined the discussion alongside local department heads. They combed through the implementation status of schemes slated for the 2026-27 financial year. The minister wants results. He demanded that eligible residents get their aid on time without bureaucratic hold-ups.

Das pushed for better coordination between departments. The team identified specific hurdles that keep cash and resources from reaching the public. He issued a clear directive to his staff. "The review aimed at ensuring that departmental schemes reach eligible beneficiaries across Sepahijala district as scheduled," the minister said.
