Agartala: Minister Sudhangshu Das chaired a district review meeting on Monday at the Dhalai District Magistrate Conference Hall. He met with officials from the Animal Resource Development Department, Fisheries Department, and Scheduled Caste Welfare Department alongside local elected representatives. The goal was simple. Ensure 2026 to 2027 financial year beneficiaries get their government facilities on time.

Das demanded faster work on all departmental projects. He told officials to kill existing bottlenecks to stop stalling progress. The Minister remains focused on the people. "Ensuring timely delivery of benefits is essential to uphold public confidence in welfare programmes," Das stated during the session.

Delays hurt the citizens who rely on these schemes for social security and basic livelihood support. Das insisted that government cash must turn into real improvements for the public. He warned that his administration will not tolerate poor service or lack of efficiency in the field. The state now monitors these district initiatives closely to make sure resources reach the grassroots.
