Agartala: Minister Sudhangshu Das met with local officials Monday at the Circuit House Conference Hall in Unakoti. He examined how the Animal Resource Development Department, Fisheries Department, and Scheduled Caste Welfare Department are managing their current projects. The minister wants these reviews every three months to track real progress and fix bottlenecks.
Das stated, "The purpose of holding such review meetings every three months is to evaluate the real progress of projects, identify problems, and ensure quick solutions so that government benefits reach every genuine beneficiary on time." He pushed for better teamwork between the administration and various departments to speed up development.
The session specifically targeted project delivery in Kailashahar. Officials discussed the 2026-27 financial year, checking if beneficiaries get their facilities on schedule. District Magistrate Megha Jain, Zilla Parishad Sabhadhipati Amlendu Das, and various senior staff joined the minister to demand higher efficiency and accountability.
