Agartala: Tripura Agriculture, Power, and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Ratan Lal Nath held his first administrative review meeting as Guardian Minister of Dhalai district on Thursday in Ambassa. The session targeted a roadmap for regional development and project efficiency. Dhalai District Magistrate Vivek HB, Zilla Sabhadhippati Susmita Das, MLAs, MDCs, and public representatives attended the proceedings.
Nath pushed for swift, transparent delivery of welfare schemes to residents in the most remote corners of the district. Officials received direct orders to verify ground-level data and speed up work on centrally sponsored initiatives. The administration is prioritizing progress in rural areas like Chawmanu and Gandatwisa, alongside urban local bodies.
Key development focus areas include education, healthcare, infrastructure, electricity, and agriculture. The minister specifically reviewed ongoing efforts under the Jal Jeevan Mission, road connectivity, and the VB-GRAM-G Scheme. Feedback from MLAs and the public will now dictate future project scheduling.
The government aims for economic self-reliance and job creation. Nath noted the state operates under Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha’s leadership to finish active projects quickly. These efforts align with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas.
Stating the government's core mission, the Minister added, "The welfare, prosperity, and overall progress of every resident of Dhalai remain our highest priority."
