Agartala: Guardian Minister Tinku Roy arrived in Khowai district this Monday to audit the progress of ongoing state and national development initiatives. As the district overseer, Roy tracks project implementation, monitors flagship schemes, and coordinates between government departments to resolve public complaints.

The review session scrutinized the status of major programs like the Jal Jeevan Mission and the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. Roy worked with district officials and local representatives to clear administrative hurdles and speed up service delivery to residents.

Roy maintains a monthly mandate to inspect the district and report his findings to Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha. These regular check-ins aim to enforce accountability and guarantee that government benefits hit their targets on the ground.

Following the meeting, Roy noted the importance of the team effort. "For the welfare of the people and the overall development of the district, I held fruitful discussions with all officials and public representatives. Coordinated efforts will continue to make the pace of development more dynamic."
