Agartala: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha took aim at the CPM on Thursday. He labeled the party and its offshoots an institution of falsehood. The Chief Minister fired these shots following his visit to the newly renovated Sri Sri Nrisingha Devata and Sri Sri Ram-Janaki Temple at Old Motor Stand in Agartala.

Saha specifically slammed Leader of the Opposition Jitendra Chaudhary. He condemned the politician for calling police officers idiots. The Chief Minister declared the CPM office at Melarmath and its affiliates have become an "institution of falsehood."

The state government wants to protect cultural history. Officials are restoring temples tied to the royal era for the younger generation. Saha recalled visiting the temple during his childhood. He called the site a major spiritual hub for locals.

He believes the state is changing. He claimed the chariot of development is moving forward across Tripura. Agartala Mayor Dipak Majumder, West Tripura District Magistrate Dr. Vishal Kumar, and Superintendent of Police Namit Pathak joined him for the prayers. The group prayed for the peace and prosperity of all state residents.
