Agartala: The Tripura Bharatiya Janata Party is rolling out the red carpet for Biplab Kumar Deb. The former Chief Minister and current MP was recently named the party's National General Secretary. This promotion has triggered a surge of energy among local party ranks.
State BJP General Secretary Bhagaban Chandra Das confirmed a major celebration for August 30 in Agartala. The party intends to host a formal felicitation at the Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhavan. Das described the promotion as a "pride for Tripura" while calling on all levels of the party organization to show their support.
Expect a heavy turnout. The event will draw elected officials, grassroots workers, and supporters from across the state. Deb will land at Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport to a warm welcome before heading to the Bhavan. Das wants every worker involved to ensure the celebration goes off without a hitch.
