Tripura Chief Secretary Hospitalized for Viral Fever

Agartala: Tripura Chief Secretary Jitendra Kumar Sinha is recovering at a private hospital in Agartala. He checked in with viral fever, a persistent cough, and dehydration. Doctors have him under close watch, but he is showing steady improvement. His vital signs remain normal.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha visited the hospital on Wednesday. He met with family members and the medical team to check on the treatment plan. Health Secretary Kiran Gitte accompanied him during the visit.

Dr. Saha later updated the public on his social media account. He wrote, "Visited Chief Secretary Shri Jitendra Kumar Sinha Ji, who is currently undergoing treatment for viral fever. His all other parameters are stable and normal. Spoke with the attending doctors and his family members to enquire about his health and the course of treatment. I wish him a speedy recovery and pray for his good health."

Medical staff continue to run necessary tests. The Chief Minister told citizens there is no reason for alarm. Officials expect Sinha to make a full recovery.
