St. Xavier College Jalukie Honors Class of 2026

Kohima: St. Xavier College in Jalukie marked its Graduation Day 2026 on July 18. The ceremony filled the college auditorium. The school set the tone with the theme, "Celebrating Excellence, Honouring Achievement, Embracing New Beginning."

Transport Commissioner Elias T. Lotha served as the guest of honor. He addressed the crowd and shared a message with the new graduates. Lungcetyile opened the program with the Word of God, and Chagaliu Pamai led a prayer song. Rev. Fr. Dr. Johnson V. U. extended greetings to the attendees.

The event highlighted individual academic wins. Students took their graduation oaths after receiving recognition for their hard work. Entertainment included a duet from Yiduachube and Tabamyile, plus a musical set by Alex and Co. A cultural dance performance showcased the heritage of the student body.

Khengdau offered the valedictory message to close out the formal proceedings. Khengdau spoke about the past journey of the students and their coming responsibilities. Levi Pame delivered the final vote of thanks. The day ended with the singing of the college anthem and a round of refreshments.
